Former students from Mackinac College attended a 40th anniversary of the College inaugural on Mackinac Island the weekend of October 20, 2006. The group hosted an open house to visit and reminisce with island friends at the Community Hall. Former students used this venue to raise awareness of and encourage donations to the Mackinac College Legacy Fund at the Mackinac Island Community Foundation.
